Mission Statement
The Police Benevolent Association of Lavallette #372 is dedicated to improving the terms and conditions of employment for our members. Our membership consists exclusively of full time uniformed members of the Lavallette Police Department from the rank of Patrolman through the rank of Chief, both active and retired.

The History of Lavallette »
The earliest form of police protection that was provided the citizens of Lavallette was that of the marshal. The first marshal, according to public records, was Joseph Patterson, who assumed the position in 1881. During the marshal phase, members of the council were authorized to serve as police officer.
